LROD Elementary

A personalised mathematical learning world

LROD works out what a child knows, what they do not, why they are struggling, and what they should learn next — then teaches it through an experience that matures with them.

It finds the real problem

A child who struggles with multiplication is often not weak at multiplication — they are weak at skip-counting or place value. LROD follows the prerequisites back and teaches the cause, not the symptom.

Mastery is not a good score

A skill counts as mastered only when a child scores well, still has it days later, understands it in more than one form, uses it in a new situation, and holds no misconception underneath it. Nine out of ten is not mastery.

Mistakes are information

A wrong answer is matched against a catalogue of misconceptions — actual wrong ideas, not error types — so the app can respond to what the child believes rather than telling them to try again.
